Check Your PAN Card Status on UTIITSL Portal
You can check the status of your PAN card through the UTIITSL portal. To complete this, follow these simple steps:
- Go to https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/.
- On the homepage, find the "Track PAN Card" option.
- Click on "Click To Track Status" below it.
- After this, you will be sent to the portal – https://www.trackpan.utiitsl.com/.
- You must enter your Application Coupon Number, PAN Number, Date of Birth /Incorporation / Agreement / Partnership or Trust Deed / Formation of Body of Individuals / Association of Persons and captcha.
- After that, click on the Submit button.
Afterward, your PAN card application status will be displayed on your screen, and you have the option to print it if desired.
Track PAN Status on NSDL
One of the most common ways to track your PAN card status is through the TIN website. Here is a step-by-step guide:
- Visit https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/ for NSDL's official site.
- You'll land on the NSDL Online Services homepage.
- Select "Know Status Of PAN Application".
- Enter the required details on the next page under "Track your PAN/TAN Application Status".
- Enter "Application Type" and "ACKNOWLEDGMENT NUMBER."
- Now, enter the captcha code and click on the submit option.
This method requires you to have your acknowledgment number at hand.
PAN Card Status via Name and Date of Birth
You can also verify your PAN Card details by entering your name and date of birth. However, this method does not provide transaction or application status. Here's how to do it:
- Visit the Income Tax E-Filing website.
- Select 'Verify your PAN' under the "Quick Links" section.
- Enter your PAN, full name, date of birth, mobile number, and click on "Continue".
- Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on "Validate".
A new page showing "Your PAN is Active, and the details match PAN Database" will appear upon validation.
Check PAN Status via Call & SMS Service
If you prefer to use the phone, you can call the TIN Call Centre at 020-27218080 and give your 15-digit acknowledgment number to ask about the status of your PAN card application.
TIN also provides an SMS service to check your PAN Card status. After three days of application, send an SMS "NSDLPAN" followed by your 15-digit acknowledgment number to 57575. You will receive an SMS with your PAN Card status shortly.
Instant e-PAN Status Check with Aadhaar Number
The instant e-PAN card is a digital PAN card that you can obtain instantly and free of charge through the income tax e-Filing website. However, this service is only available if you do not already have a PAN card, have a valid Aadhaar, and your mobile number is linked with Aadhaar. Here's how to track your instant e-PAN status:
- Visit the Income Tax e-filing website.
- Under the "Check Status/ Download PAN" option, click on "Continue".
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number and click on "Continue".
- Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on "Continue".
Your PAN Card status through Aadhaar Number will be displayed on the screen.
